"Finding Hope"

“From ancient times, people have recognized that a spirit of hope had the power to heal afflictions and helps them bear times of great suffering, illnesses, disasters, loss and pain”   (Wikipedia) 

Hope is like a good dream. Each stone is such a dream. There are many dreamers with many dreams. My wall of stone is a wall of hope built by these dreams. Symbols of hope from the ancient Hebrew symbol to a tree and flowers growing from the wall of hope, to hope written in Chinese are all found on the wall. Stairs to go beyond dreams and find hope each day in the birds, the butterfly, nature’s beauty found in the sky. All beckoning the dreamer to come and realize that hope lives to be held. Anchors at head of vessel are also symbols of hope.  Out of the mouth of the vessels are shattered stone being cast out after dreams have become a present reality to the dreamer.  The work viewed as a whole was intended to bring a smile and a focus to discover the hope, we seek each day.
